For the first weekend of November, there’s a surprisingly high number of vampire films among Hulu’s most popular movies. It must be a residual Halloween thing. Luckily, there’s a pair of newly arrived films that don’t involve creatures of the night.

Plans were announced in August 2025 to fully combine Hulu and Disney+ into a single, unified streaming app in 2026, giving viewers access to more content in one place. This move follows Disney officially becoming the sole owner of Hulu in June 2025 after which the company outlined its long-term strategy to merge the services more seamlessly.

The Burbank entertainment giant is making progress on its plan to fold Hulu content into the Disney+ platform sometime next year.
