The latest start date for closing the U.S. 40 bridge over Conococheague Creek is June 30, 2025. Material delays pushed back the start date of the $22.4 million bridge rehabilitation project.

When finished, the 1,500-foot bridge will have new concrete spans, sidewalks, barriers and water utility components. The total cost is estimated to be $10.78 million.
