A shockingly polite man robbed a Chicago bank with a note vowing to “pay it back soon” on Monday — less than 72 hours after he was acquitted of committing a similar bank robbery.

Allen reportedly grew furious and demanded cash, but the lone female bank employee, 40, reminded Allen there was no cash in the building. Police were called and an hours-long standoff ensued.
