You might remember the old Vita-Mix commercials, where the blender turns a two-by-four into sawdust, or the ones a few years back when well-known chefs posed in the buff with the machine.

While many Vitamix blenders can be bulky, this compact option won’t take up much counter space, and shoppers say it’s super lightweight, so it can easily be moved from kitchen to table to patio.

The firm produced its first blender in 1937. Vita-Mix employs 426 at its headquarters in Olmsted Township and another 446 at its Strongsville factory, according to company data.
