Adrian Gonzalez, the Santa Cruz man convicted of the rape and murder of an 8-year-old in 2015, has asked for a change of venue for a trial that will decide if he is released on his 25th birthday.

After hearing testimony from two psychologists at the ongoing trial to determine whether Adrian Gonzalez remains a threat to the public, the 25-year old rapist and murderer took the stand Wednesday.
