Adobe Inc. has inked a $20 billion cash-and-stock deal to acquire Figma Inc., a startup with a popular user interface development tool of the same name. The companies announced the acquisition today.

Not too long ago, Adobe Inc. tried to acquire Figma Inc. for about $20 billion before regulators pushed back. Now investors will get a chance to own a piece of that smaller design-software company.
