Yamaha has issued a recall for over 30,000 power adapters due to burn and fire hazards, urging consumers to stop using and unplug the adapters and contact Yamaha for a free replacement.

Update: David Oshel writes: "The replacement yo-yo is only superficially like the iBook yoyo. It is plainly marked 45 watts AC, and the power plug is designed to fit the Powerbook G3 Series socket.
