The Consumer Product Safety Commission issued a notice Thursday that 138,000 Lucid platform beds are being recalled in the U.S. and Canada because they can collapse while in use, leading to an increased risk of injury.

CVB Inc a Utah-based company is recalling about 137,000 of its Lucid Platform Bed with an Upholstered Square Tufted Headboard after reported injuries.

Lucid-branded platform beds sold at retailers including Amazon and Walmart are being recalled because they can collapse.

Walmart is launching six days of holiday savings. Unlike Prime Day, you don't need a membership to shop the savings. Walmart+ members do get early access to the sales event and can start shopping 12 hours earlier than everyone else, but all customers can join in on the savings starting at noon ET on October 8.
