Happy Thanksgiving, El Paso! A backdoor cold front dropped temperatures into the lower 60s where they will stay until the weekend. We’re looking at a high near 61 degrees for Friday paired with partly sunny skies.

Today’s high temperature will be met in the morning hours. After the cold front passes through, we will cool down into the 60s for the rest of the day. A chance of rain remains for the morning as the front passes.

WINDS Due to a passing cold front, there will be breezy conditions today, tonight, and Black Friday. COLD FRONT A strong cold front is moving through the area, giving us cooling temperatures throughout the day.

NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) - A big change is coming on Thanksgiving Day. A cold front moving across the state will bring rain and storms in the morning. Some storms could be strong to severe in our eastern areas if we get enough heating in the early morning. Most areas will just see some showers.
