PRETORIA (Reuters) - The third Twenty20 International between South Africa and India was halted early in the home side’s reply after a wave of flying ants descended on Centurion Park in Pretoria on Wednesday and forced the players from the field.

Tilak Varma scored a maiden Twenty20 International century with a brilliant 107 from 56 balls to help India to an 11-run victory over hosts South Africa at Centurion Park on Wednesday, a game that was stopped for nearly half an hour by flying ants.

South African captain Aiden Markram admitted that Sanju Samson had put a largely inexperienced bowling attack under pressure but said he was disappointed with his team's batting effort

The umpires decided the ant attack was too muchand asked the players to go off the field in the India vs South Africa 3rd T20I.

An unbeaten 47 from Tristan Stubbs, and a 42-run partnership with Gerald Coetzee, saw South Africa haul themselves over the line for a three-wicket win over India in their Twenty20 international at St George’s Park on Sunday.
