Some people learn best by doing. For others, it's by watching. The Seattle Kraken gave Shane Wright a chance at the latter over the past week and it paid off Monday in Anaheim.

Seattle Kraken forwards Shane Wright and Andre Burakovsky ended their goalless droughts in a 3-2 win over the Anaheim Ducks.

Andre Burakovsky and Brandon Montour scored, Ryker Evans had two assists and Joey Daccord made 21 saves for the Kraken (11-10-1), who have won six of eight (6-2-0) and ended a five-game road losing streak.

Shane Wright returned to the lineup and had a goal and an assist as the Seattle Kraken defeated the host Anaheim Ducks 3-2 Monday night in the opener of a home-and-home series between the Pacific Division rivals.

Shane Wright is expected to return to the Seattle Kraken's lineup tonight against the Anaheim Ducks after missing the previous three games as a healthy scratch.
