Shohei Ohtani became the first player in major league history to hit 50 home runs and steal 50 bases in a season when he homered three times and stole two bases to lead the Los Angeles Dodgers to a playoff-clinching 20-4 rout of the Miami Marlins on Thursday.

Shohei Ohtani, in addition to joining the 50-50 club, broke a number of Dodgers records with his three-homer, 10-RBI game against the Marlins.

Green’s 19 total bases remain an all-time single-game record. Anthony Rendon (April 30, 2017), Edgardo Alfonso (Aug. 30, 1999), Jimmie Foxx (July 10, 1932) and Ty Cobb (May 5, 1925) all enjoyed 6-for-6 games – though with fewer total bases than both Green and Ohtani.
