CLEVELAND, Ohio — The Powerball jackpot has increased to an estimated $165 million for Monday, Sept. 16, 2024, after no tickets matched the winning numbers from the most recent drawing. The Saturday, Sept. 14 numbers are 29-34-38-48-56 Powerball 16 Power Play 2x.

The winning million-dollar ticket was sold at Variedades Ecualatinas on Ferry Street in Newark in Essex County, the New Jersey Lottery announced. In addition, other lottery players in NJ won $150,444 in prizes ranging from $4 to $400.

A lottery player in Essex County won the $1,000,000 second-tier prize in the Wednesday, Sept. 18, Powerball drawing.

There was one lucky winner in New York City who scored $50,000 with a third-prize Powerball ticket. The New York Lottery announced the winning ticket for the Sept. 18 drawing matched four white balls and the red Powerball. It was sold at Hartley Pharmacy, located at 1219 Amsterdam Ave., in Manhattan.

Two Powerball tickets worth $50,000 each were sold in Indiana, with winning purchases at Depot Express in Scottsburg and Strough's Supermarket in Fortville.

The Mega Millions jackpot is creeping towards the $1 billion mark. The current jackpot sits at $800 million with an estimated cash value of $404.2 million after no one won Friday's drawing. Tonight's drawing may unveil a lucky jackpot winner.

Check your tickets! The Texas Lottery said a $2 million winning Powerball ticket has not been claimed yet and if it isn't soon, it will expire.
