A Maryland court on Tuesday ordered a blogger known as Ziz who leads a cultlike group connected to six killings held without bail.

The "Zizian" group, which has roots in the San Francisco Bay Area, has been the focus of a multistate probe as investigators allege members are tied to a half-dozen killings in three states.

Jack “Ziz” LaSota, leader of a so-called “death cult” linked to at least six deaths across the United States, is in custody in Maryland.
