Around 60 Indian passengers had to face an ordeal at Kuwait airport for 13 hours after their Mumbai to Manchester flight made an emergency landing there due to a technical glitch.  The passengers alleged they were not getting "food or help.

Several Indian passengers are stranded at Kuwait Airport after their Gulf Air Bahrain-Manchester flight was diverted due to a technical issue. Indians, not eligible for visa on arrival in Kuwait, are stuck at the airport while other nationals have left.

Arzoo Singh, one of the stranded passengers, said they were unable to leave the airport since they did not have a transit visa.

The passengers, travelling on Gulf Air flight GF 005 from Mumbai to Manchester, complained of facing discomfort as the airline failed to provide food, accommodation, or basic assistance during their extended wait.

The Indian Embassy in Kuwait shared on X: "Embassy has been informed by Gulf Air that the flight for stranded passengers from Kuwait to Manchester is tentatively scheduled at 3.30
