A 15-year-old boy, whom authorities said was carrying a loaded firearm when he was fatally shot by police officers late Thursday, was a ninth-grader at North High School, according to Akron Public Schools.

Gary and Kathy Green remain devastated several days after their 15-year-old grandson, Jazmir Tucker, was shot and killed by an Akron police officer.

More information, including body camera footage, will be available in the days to come, said Akron City Council President Margo Sommerville.
