As the Trump administration intensifies its crackdown on immigrants who are in the country illegally, officials and agencies took to social media to publicize the arrests.

President Donald Trump said Wednesday that he is directing the opening of a detention center at Guantanamo Bay to hold up to 30,000 immigrants who are living illegally in the United States. People who are in the United States illegally and are accused of theft and violent crimes would have to be detained and potentially deported even before a conviction.

ICE Philadelphia officials have not released details on the operation, including how many people were detained, if any had criminal records or why the car wash was targeted.

Migrants across the U.S. and Arizona faced the spectre of ICE raids under the new administration of President Donald Trump.

Federal ICE agents launched raids in New York City early Tuesday as part of President Trump’s illegal immigration crackdown, Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem said. The agents hit at least three locations in the Bronx and took at least two people into custody, sources said.
