Carlos Sainz has shared details of an “awkward” 20 minutes spent in Baku’s medical center with Sergio Perez following their late-race collision in the Azerbaijan Grand Prix.

Red Bull's Sergio Perez and Ferrari's Carlos Sainz said they had cleared the air with no hard feelings after last weekend's Azerbaijan Grand Prix collision and hoped for a good race in Singapore on Sunday.

Both Perez and Sainz walked away from the crash without obtaining any injuries, however, it has now been revealed that Perez's father, Antonio Perez Garibay, was rushed to hospital following his son's incident on track.
