Is this doable in winter weather conditions (I'm extremely experienced with driving in garbage conditions), or would snowshoeing be a better option? Is this road plowed during winter?

Yes it is usually drivable all winter long. It is keep cleared same as city streets. Snow melts fast around here. So if bad one day try the next it should be fine. Snow is not deep enough …
Yes it is usually drivable all winter long. It is keep cleared same as city streets. Snow melts fast around here. So if bad one day try the next it should be fine. Snow is not deep enough around Canon City for shoeing. Have to get above 7500’ to get it deep enough.
