An impressive monument of the 1995 earthquake that caused immense damage to the city and killed some 6000 people. Across the street are the remains of a damaged building. A lot of food for thought. Full review by theoax

Motomachi JR station is probably best coming from Osaka. It's the station after Sannomiya. The walk to the park is about 400m, think. Maybe 500 m. Hope that helps.
