Some horse and hiking trails are now shared. Both riders and walkers are respectful of one another. Trails are well maintained. Lots of squirrels, chipmunks, deer and birds. Full review by Buxz K

There is an access point to the Harpeth River not far from here that I've seen mentioned on several sites - it's the intersection of Old Natchez Trace and Temple Rd. You can search it on Google maps. It's about 4 1/2 miles away. 20 years ago it was a beautiful country drive. I think there's been a lot of residential construction since then, but access to the Harpeth is hard to find. Enjoy!

Hi there. I will be visiting Nashville in early November and was hoping to get some Fall foliage photos. Is the first weekend in November past peak for the park or will there still be some leaves on the trees? (I know it varies each year, but just thought maybe you had a feel for it.) Thanks! Jen

Early November should be a perfect time for you. Percy Warner is a beautiful park.
