Yes in my view absolutely no problem, loads of clever slapstick stuff. We were there on Tuesday and there were loads of kids under 9 .....

Personal preference of course, but the view from this theatre's stalls is fantastic - it's a small theatre so you're very close to the action on stage rather than looking down on it. Honestly not sure what sort of view you'd actually get from the back of the balcony.

Sorry I am not sure. We went in February. It is a very old theatre, maybe take a bottle of mineral water with you.
