NHS launches next stage of Urgent & Emergency Care Recovery Plan

Aims include reducing A&E waiting times to 78% of patients seen within 4 hours by March 2025, faster ambulance response times (30 minute average) for Category 2 calls, £300 million funding for local improvement plans & top performers, and expanding virtual wards to prevent unnecessary hospital admissions.
